ISDM 2026 konferencia - Meghívó

Dear Students and Colleagues,

We invite you to the International Student Day of Metallurgy (ISDM) 2026 held in Miskolc, Hungary!

ISDM is a returning international event bringing together students and researchers in metallurgy each year – this year hosted by the University of Miskolc and the SteelTech-Center Hungary (STC).

The event will be held from October 28-30, 2026, at the University of Miskolc.

We look forward to your contributions with oral presentations on research results related to metallurgy (topics include, but are not limited to, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, hydrometallurgy, process metallurgy, physical metallurgy, casting, forging).

Participants who wish to present their research must submit their short abstract prepared using the template (https://isdm2026.uni-miskolc.hu/callforpapers) by 15 October 2026. Only abstracts and presentations written and presented in English will be accepted.

Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants will be notified accordingly.

Students and colleagues from the University of Miskolc can present their research free of charge, but should register using the following form:

The deadline for registration is 15 October 2026.

Please note that the free participation of students and colleagues from the University of Miskolc does not include catering, and the following acknowledgement should be included in their presentation and paper:

“This Research topic is supported by the SteelTech-Center Hungary project of University of Miskolc“

For those colleagues and students who wish to request catering, the normal participation fee applies, and they are required to register via the following link:
