Gábor Terdik is a mechanical engineer and an international welding engineer graduated at the University of Miskolc. He currently works as a technical director at the Hungarian-owned Verarbeiten Pausits ​​Ltd., a manufacturer of steel structures. His research, which fits well to the profile of the company, is supported by a cooperative doctoral program that promotes cooperation between industry and academia with a monthly scholarship of several hundred thousand forints. The title of his PhD thesis: Investigation of the effects of surface welding on high-strength steel materials. He is expected to defend his thesis this year.
