Bolyai János Kutatási Ösztöndíj
A Bolyai-ösztöndíj kifejezetten a fiatal, tehetséges kutatók kiemelkedő kutatási-fejlesztési teljesítmény ösztönzésére és elismerésére létesült. Az ösztöndíjat független, szakmailag és tudományos szempontból autonóm, a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia elnöke által az MTA köztestületi keretei között létrehozott Kuratórium ítéli oda nyilvános pályázati rendszerben. A Bolyai János Kutatási Ösztöndíj Kuratóriuma a 1998. évi megalakulása óta évente hirdeti meg az ösztöndíjat, bírálja el a pályázatokat, és ítéli oda legkiválóbb kutatóknak a Bolyai ösztöndíjat.
2023-ban minden eddiginél többen, összesen 834-en pályáztak idén a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia teljesítmény-központú, magas presztízsű országos ösztöndíjára. A 834 pályázó közül 156-an kaptak támogatást, köztük a Miskolci Egyetem Gépészmérnöki és Informatikai Karának Energetikai és Vegyipari Gépészeti Intézetének egyetemi docense, Dr. Szamosi Zoltán is. Pályázatának címe: Jól tárolható alternatív gázok vizsgálata erdészeti és mezőgazdasági melléktermékekből.

János Bolyai Research Scholarship
The Bolyai Scholarship was established specifically to encourage and recognise outstanding research and development achievements by young, talented researchers. The scholarship is awarded by an independent, professionally and scientifically autonomous Board of Trustees, established by the President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences within the framework of the MTA's public body, through a public application system. Since its establishment in 1998, the Board of Trustees of the János Bolyai Research Fellowship has announced the fellowship annually, evaluated the applications and awarded the Bolyai Fellowship to the most outstanding researchers.
In 2023, more people than ever before, a total of 834, applied for the performance-oriented, highly prestigious national scholarship of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Out of 834 applicants, 156 obtained the scholarship, including Dr. Zoltán Szamosi, associate professor of the Institute of Energy Engineering and Chemical Machinery of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Miskolc. The title of his research is: Examination of well-storable alternative gases from forestry and agricultural by-products.
