Heavy Industry, graduating as a mechanical engineer in 1985. He has been teaching at university level since 1985. He started studies at the József Hatvany Doctoral School of Information Science. He completed the doctoral programme requirements in 2012 and was awarded a PhD in Computer Science with summa cum laude distinction in 2024. In 2022, he graduated with honours from a postgraduate specialist engineering programme in Packaging Development. His main teaching areas are Windows systems administration and IT security. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor. His honours and awards include the Silver Degree of the Academic Commemorative Medal (1985), Dean’s Commendations (2010 and 2013), the Rector’s Commendation (2012), the Commemorative Medal of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Informatics (2013), and the Pro Facultate Scientiarium Sanitatis award (2015). In March 2026, he was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit. Graduating students have elected him an Honorary Member of their graduating class on four occasions.
